Scheduled (5)
A geophysical survey identified the milecastle 496 metres to the west of Turret 72B. It measured 26 metres east/west and 24.75m north/south externally. There was some indication of a road at the milecastle running north of the wall ditch with a funnel near the crossing. Two contiguous enclosures were built onto each of the east and west walls of the milecastle, with a further one built to the west of the western enclosure. Some evidence of buildings and divisions can be seen in both western enclosures. (6)
Located on the English Heritage map of Hadrian's Wall 2010. (7)
