Summary : Roman Catholic chapel at Wardour New Castle, designed and constructed by James Paine and Giacomo Quarenghi between 1770-76, enlarged by John Soane in 1789. It is constricted of limestone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof.

Chapel situated in the north west wing of Wardour New Castle, and was designed by James Paine in 1770-6, the interior by Quarenghi. The sanctuary and side galleries were designed by Sir John Soane. Now used as the Roman Catholic church for the district of Wardour, and is in regular use. Grade I. (2)
