NORTH BLOCKHOUSE

Part of Hull artillery castle complex on the East bank of River Hull, connected to the castle by a curtain wall. Two-storied, trefoil shaped structure. Accidentally blown up in 1643, but restored. Sold to Trinity House in 1802, and demolished.
