More information : NY 6257 1070 Ditched feature (enclosure?) of unknown date.

This feature was surveyed by the Royal Commission in June 1996 during the Industry and Enclosure in the Neolithic Project.

A slight oval feature measuring 13.0m by 4.0m and defined by a shallow ditch, 0.2m deep. Within the ditch is a low oval unconsolidated mound of stones no more than 0.2m high. It is oriented east-west and is situated on an north-east facing slope.

The date and siginficance of this feature is not apparent. A short section of bank springs off from the main enclosure at Howe Robin (NY 61 SW 75) and heads towards this feature, but there is no obvious re;lationship between the two monuments.

See archive report and plan at 1:1000 scale. (1)
