Summary : Section of Roman road revealed during excavation at Grimston Roman villa, and projected to join the Peddars Way to the East.
More information : Roman Road at Grimston. Discovery of a Roman road alignment was reported reported in connection with the excavation of Grimston Roman villa [See associated Monument Records] running WSW-ENE. Field investigation indicates no clear traces, but two alignments of trackway lie on the course described, one form TF 764232 to 777935 joining the Peddars Way Roman road.
