Summary : Scheduled section of probable 6th or 7th century territorial boundary. Surviving earthwork.
More information : NZ 195 102 - NZ 196 105. Scots Dyke: section ESE of Park House. Scheduled. (1) NZ 1949 1014. Section of Scots Dyke linear boundary 250m north of Langdale. It includes a bank varying from 3.5m to 5.5m wide and is up to 1m high, with a ditch to the east, 1.5m wide and up to 1.5m deep. Scheduled RSM 26954. NZ 1960 1049 - NZ 1950 1020. Section of Scots Dyke linear boundary 600m south-east of Park House. It includes a well-preserved bank varying from 5.5m to 8m wide and is up to 2.5m high with a ditch lying to the east, 1.5m wide and up to 1.5m deep. Scheduled RSM 26953. NZ 1967 1065. Section of Scots Dyke linear boundary, 650m ENE of Park House. It includes a well-preserved bank, 12m wide and up to 2.5m high, with a shallow ditch lying to the east, 1.5m wide. Scheduled RSM 26955.
