Summary : A circular enlcosure is visible as a cropmark on air photographs. 15 metres in diameter, with a single entrance to the south, it may be a hengiform or funerary monument. Several others occur in proximity to the Barnack cursus (TF 00 NE 219).
More information : The following feature was mapped from good quality air photographs:- Probable Prehistoric or Roman hengiform monument, seen as cropmarks. Morphological description: a circular enclosure, diameter 15m, defined by 1 ditch, with 1 entrance to the south. Centred at:-TF 0819 0666 (Morph No. LI.777.42.1) This feature is in close proximity to a cursus and other related features and they could all form part of some kind of 'ritual complex' made up of features that are not necessarily contemporary.
