More information : The following features were seen as cropmarks and have been mapped from good quality air photographs:-
Probable Prehistoric or Roman round barrow, seen as a circular enclosure, diameter 35m, defined by 1 ditch with a central pit. Also within the enclosure were 3 further, possibly unrelated, pits. Centred at:-TF 0813 0664 (Morph No. LI.777.41.1)
This barrow is in close proximity to a cursus and other related features and they could all form part of some kind of 'ritual complex' made up of features that are not necessarily contemporary. (see TF 00 NE 11)
