(TM 3083 8325) A Rapid Identification Survey carried out by Suffolk County Council on behalf of RCHME identified a possible deserted Medieval village at this grid reference (1). The earthworks comprise house platforms and hollow-ways etc. and may be linked with the adjacent moated site at South Elmham Hall (TM 38 SW 2).
