Summary : Hollow-way on possible line of Hadrian's Wall ditch. It is narrow, and up to 2 metres in depth.
More information : Ditch extant (1a). Two fragments of Wall ditch have been kept extant by use as a track for watering cattle (1b). Ditch necessary at crossing of Monkhill Beck, no change (1c). Narrow hollow way up to 2m deep assumed by the above authorities to be part of the Wall ditch, which is possibly correct; survey revised. (1)
