Summary : Roman road; no trace of the Roman Road west from last known point (NY 5965/21) to a conjectural point south of milecastle 51 in a field covered by narrow rig. The Road must have crossed the Turf Wall and its ditch at some point in this section, but mutilation of the former and quarrying of the latter has obliterated the crossing point.
