Summary : The Roman Military Way can be traced on the ground and from the air as a slight earthwoad to the east of the fort at Great Chesters from NY 7061 6679 to NY 7100 6665.
More information : A low agger, 6m to 7.5m wide and 0.1m to 0.2m high can be traced for a short distance. (1) The course of the road was mapped from aerial photographs between NY 7062 6679 and NY 7089 6673, at a scale of 1:10000 as part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site Mapping Project. The eastern portion has been recorded as a separate feature by Field Survey (NY 76 NW 100).(3)
