Summary : Roman road; in the east part of this sector the course of the road descending from a rocky hill terrace is unclear though it lies within 10m of the line shown on the RCHME plan. To the west it is in silted marshy ground but the line is evidenced by loose stones in hill washouts. The Ordnance Survey line is incorrect.
More information : Shown on OS map as single pecked line (1a). In the east part of this sector the course of the road descending from a rocky hill terrace is unclear though it lies within 10m of the line shown on the RCHME plan.
