Summary : The Roman road is well-preserved as a terrace, about 4.0m wide. Its south side is defined by a scarp, 0.3m-0.4m high, in which a number of displaced kerb-stones are exposed. The agger of the roman road is visible as earthworks on air photogarphs. The Ordnance Survey line is incorrect.
More information : Shown on OS map as single pecked line (1a). Road well-preserved as a terrace, about 4.0m wide. Its south side is defined by a scarp, 0.3m-0.4m high, in which a number of displaced kerb-stones are exposed. OS line incorrect. (1)
