Summary : The Roman spur road from the Military Way to Turret 29b (Limestone Bank) is visible as a slight, mutilated agger. It was seen as an earthwork and mapped from air photographs.
More information : Turret 29b (NY 87 SE 5) was approached by a branch path 11ft wide,
leading off at right angles to the Military Way. (1)

The branch path is visible as a slight ground swelling. (2)

The road connecting the turret to the line of the Military Way is visible as a slight, mutilated agger. (3)

The road from the turret was seen as an earthwork and mapped from air photographs. (5)
