Limited excavation of a 2x2.5m area. The excavators believed that the features may be the ditch terminal of a causewayed enclosure. (Subsequent excavations in the same area have suggested that the remains may actually represent part of a pit grouping. See UIDs 1048492 & 1201951).

Trench 1 failed to relocate the 1984 trench, but did locate a RB ditch and BA and RB truncated pits. No evidence of the conjectured NE causewayed enclosure.
