WHEAT BARN

DESCRIPTION + /

Aisled barn built mid to late 13th century, altered in early 16th and 18th centuries. Timber-framed with brick nogging and partly weatherboarded on a plint of red brick, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. The Wheat Barn is one of two barns comprising the surviving remains of the Knights Templars' settlement at Cressing.
