Summary : Parish church. Medieval, restored 1882. 13th century nave and chancel (in one), 14th century west tower, north porch. Flint rubble with remains of plasterwork; brick quoins to west end, otherwise stone dressings. Thatched roof. 15th century wall paintings.
More information : (TM 4807 8993) St John the Baptist's Church (C of E) (NAT) (1) Church of St John the Baptist, medieval building restored in 1882. In the south nave are remains of 3 C15 wall paintings depicting the crucifixion, the Works of Mercy and St Christopher. Grade II* (See list for details). (2-3)
