Summary : Bronze Age disc barrow, listed by Grinsell as Wilsford 45b, and part of the Lake Group of barrows, recorded as SU 14 SW 51. It was not excavated by Cunnington and Colt Hoare, who noted that it had been opened previously. The barrow is extant as an earthwork, though the off-centre mound shown on the AM and on modern OS maps is not visible; the eastern part of the surrounding bank and ditch is cut by a linear earthwork; the barrow bank overlies that of Wilsford 45a (SU 14 SW 477). |

Wilford 45b, a disc barrow with an off-centre tump and only the northwest semi-circle of ditch and bank remaining. Bank 0.3m, ditch 0.5m, mound 0.3m. Published 1:2500 survey revised. (3)

The barrow falls within the area mapped from aerial photographs by both RCHME's Salisbury Plain Training Area NMP and EH's Stonehenge WHS Mapping Project. It has been included on the survey maps, but is covered by trees, and no further information could be added from aerial photographic evidence. (6)
The larger, and later, of a pair of disc barrows, with Wilsford 45a; the bank is about 0.3m high and the ditch up to 0.3m deep; there is no sign of the central mound shown on the AM (see Authority 3) and modern OS maps; the eastern side of the barrow is cut by a linear ditch and its bank overlies that of Wilsford 45a.
