More information : SS 956 143. Cropmarks resembling a Roman fortlet were identified immediately south of the recorded fort on Bolham Hill (SS 91 SE 37) during aerial survey in 1984 carried out for Devon County Council and HBMC by Miss Frances Griffith. (1)

A rapid examination of air photography (2a) shows the cropmarks of this fortlet. (2)
