This blockhouse, basically a square World War I pillbox, was positioned at the north corner of the perimeter wall of the battery. The building was of simple concrete block construction, and was close to the Battery Observation Post. The site was visited by the Fortress Studies Group in 1992 during the Holderness Survey, they found the site to be in poor condition and at risk of being totally destroyed.(1)
