More information : (TA 4006 1101) World War I/II Blockhouse, Easington This blockhouse was based on a simple World War I square pillbox. The building was a simple concrete block construction which was situated to the northwest of the Battery Observation Post. The site was visited by the Fortress Studies Group in 1992, they found the site to be in poor condition and felt it to be at risk of being totally destroyed. (1) World War 1/2 blockhouse based on a simple World War 1 square pillbox. The building was of concrete block construction, situated to the NW of the Battery Observation Post. (2)
