The cemetery covered an estimated area of 4.3 acres centred SU86550550 and, to date, excavations have revealed 326 burials. The cemetery dates from c70AD to the late 3rd/early 4th century and contained cremations and inhumations but later burials are sporadic. All the finds are with Chichester Museum. (3) |
