More information : (TG 23540885) The Deanery (NAT) (1) The Deanery, formerly Prior's Hall, externally is 17th century but the interior dates from the 13th century. It is of 2 storeys and 2 parallel ranges built of flint faced with patches of brick and ashlar and has a partly tiled, partly pantiled roof with 2 hipped dormers on the main elevation, restored mullioned and transomed windows and a 19th century porch. The side elevation has two 17th century stepped gables and triple lancets. (2,3) The Deanery (name confirmed) is as described and in use as three private residences. Ground photographs. (4) Former Deanery, originally the Prior's Lodging and now sub-divided. (5)
