Summary : A bowl barrow excavated by Colt Hoare who located a cremation accompanied by antler and barbed and tanged arrowheads. A dog burial was also located.
More information : Barrow 18 (1). SU 21925216: Collingbourne Kingston 19, Hunter's Barrow, a bowl barrow 30 paces in diameter x 9ft high. (2) Excavations by R. Colt Hoare (RCH barrow 17) located a cremation encircled by antler and accompanied by five barbed and tanged arrowheads. A skeleton of a dog was also found within the mound. (3) The dimensions given for the barrow are substantially correct. OS 1:2500 survey revised. (4) Originally recorded as Collingbourne Kingston 19 by Goddard. (5)
