More information : Barrow 2. (1). SU 21625199 Collingbourne Kingston 7a, a bowl barrow, 17 paces in diameter x 3.5ft high. Excavated by Colt Hoare (RCH barrow 5) who found an empty grave. (2)

Dimensions given for this barrow are substantially correct. OS 1:2500 survey revised. (3)

Authority 1 appears to be incorrect. This barrow was originally recorded as Collingbourne Kingston 7a by Goddard and excavated by Colt Hoare (RCH barrow 6) who found burnt bones enclosed in wood within a cist. (4)
