discontinuous single linear feature defined by 1 stone foundation,
with a maximum length of 1350m. This feature could be part of a
coach road associated with Staunton Harold Hall (SK 32 SE 20).

(6)

The four bell pits of authority 6 (FR.182.4.8) are shallow
depressions with slight upcast banks around them, roughly 3m to
4m across. It is possible that instead of bell pits they are medieval or early post-medieval shafts. The tramway (FR.182.4.9)
is a low, grassy bank 3m wide; there is no evidence of rails and
sleepers. The two leats (FR.182.4.10-11) are ditch features with upcast banks to either side.
(7)

Calke lead workings and furnace. (8a) (8)
