Summary : 13th century refectory with 15th century windows surviving as a ruined building. Adjoining blank wall thought to be a kitchen. 18th century cottage and dairy built on to north side of refectory.
More information : [SK 50111269] The refectory is of the 15th century. (1)

The southern wall of the refectory remains to a considerable height and contains large windows with pointed archways. See GP/53/108/2.(2)

Ulverscroft Augustinian Priory of St Mary founded sometime before 1174. (3)

On the south side of the cloister is a 13th century refectory which contains an almost complete pair of 15th century windows. An area of blank wall to the south is thought to have had an adjoining kitchen, now demolished , to the south. An 18th century cottage and a dairy were built on to the north side of the refectory. Part of scheduling of Ulverscroft Priory (5) (see SK 51 SW 4)
