Summary : A Bronze Age bell barrow forming part of the Everleigh Barrow group. The barrow was designated as Everleigh 2 by Grinsell (1957) and survives as an earthwork with an overall diameter of 50 metres. The mound survives to a height of 3.2 metres, the ditch is 0.5 metres deep. Excavations by J. Thurnham between 1853-57 located a primary cremation accompanied with a flat axe dagger. |

Everleigh 2. Overall diameter 50 metres, height 3.2 metres, ditch 0.5 metres deep. Grass and bush covered. Well preserved. Surveyed at 1:2500. (4)
