More information : A rapid examination of air photography (1a) suggests the presence of possible enclosures, visible as earthworks at SP 879228, immediately west-northwest of Castle Hill. Possibly the remains of village shrinkage or possibly baileys (?) associated with Castle Hill (SP 82 SE 2). (1)
