25-JAN-1989: Wreck examined 06-JUL-1988 in 54 27 14.0N, 000 23 40.0W. Least echosounder depth 46 in general depth 51m. No scour. Side scan sonar height 4.5m, length 50m, width 15m. Lies 020/200 degrees with high point at N end. Could be part of wreck found close W (Land and Marine, HI 414B). (1)
Charted as the bow section of the WOODSTOCK; wreck of a steamship, in 51m general depth, dimensions of site 50m x 15m. (2)
Located approximately 4 miles NE of Robin Hood's Bay. (3)
