More information : The wreck was discovered on Monday 26-FEB by William Box, on the beach about 5 miles N of Bude. A large quantity of spars, timber, rope and canvas were evident, suggesting a vessel had been lately wrecked in the vicinity. Part of the stern bore the ship's name and port of registration, but no cargo was evident, only some yellow stone which may have been ballast. (1)

Stranded 5 miles north of Bude in wind conditions WSW force 6. Cargo was alabaster. (3)
