Summary : Cropmark of a Roman roadside settlement consisting of enclosures, hut circles and trackways. Pottery found.
More information : SE 449 199. A cropmark complex identified at a spot where the 3
parish boundaries runn close together. The site consists of apparent
enclosures, hut sites and drove roads on either side of RR 286, with
probable access roads associated. A fragment of Samian was found
nearby in 1959, and suggests a date for this site. (1)
