08-NOV-1977: Wreck 23.6m, in a general depth 29-30m, located in 50 55 46N, 001 03 00E, height 6m. (1)
28-SEP-1977: in 50 55 46N, 001 03 00E, Depth 23.6m in a general depth 29-30m. Scour 29.7m. Height 6m, length 94m, lying 170/350 deg, but very broken up. Charted as wreck 23m. (1)
09-SEP-1982 Dived on recently, bell recovered with name JOKAI and date 1882. (1)
Wreck lies in a general depth of 29m, orientated N/S. Her remains have been identified by divers who recovered the ship's bell in 1982. (2)
She now lies at 50 55.46N, 01 03.00E and is well broken. Her bow points almost due north. Her dated bell was recovered in the late 1980s. (3)
Charted without qualification as the JOKAI, in 28m depth, environment sand. Dimensions of site 80m x 10m. (5)
Located approximately 2.75 miles NE of Dungeness. (6)
Wreck Event and Documentary Evidence:
Sank, following collision with SS BARON ARDROSSAN. En route Fiume to Dunkirk, via Rouen. (1)
'Vessel sank whilst carrying 100 tons of cargo, following collision with the SS BARON ARDROSSAN, of Ardrossan, in wind conditions E force 3.
'There is a discrepancy in the sinking position of this vessel, BOT quoting 3 miles E of Dungeness whereas LCR quotes 4 miles.' (2)
An Austrian vessel which collided with the BARON ARDROSSAN on 26-NOV-1897 whilst en route from Fiume to Dunkirk via Rouen with general cargo. (3)

NB: At the time of loss, the vessel's home port was Fiume in the Austro-Hungarian empire, now known as Rijeka in the modern state of Croatia.
