MARYPORT GOLF COURSE TOWER 22A

The buried remains of a Roman tower 22A, which formed the Roman frontier defences along the Cumbrian Coast. The tower was originally of sandstone construction and is located on the edge of the fairway on a low ridge running parallel to the coast.
