More information : TF 095935. Site of Usselby DMV now recognised. (1)
Usselby, documented separately in population sources only since the 16th century, has undoubtedly been a larger nucleation, but the site has to a large extent been taken over by Usselby Hall and its gardens. There are no surviving earthworks or map evidence on which to base an assessment of its morphology. (2)
A field system of Medieval ridge and furrow, possibly associated with Usselby DMV, is recorded in TF 09 SE 42. (3) |
