Summary :
Excavations in 1980 revealed a Roman Road (RR2c) of two phases. A Bronze Age barbed and tanged arrowhead was also found.

Excavation along stretch of Ermine Street Roman Road 2c between Tower
Lane and Heath Road in 1980 by P Chowne and SLAU identified two
