EAST FERRY

Settlement of East Ferry is documented only from the early
13th century onwards. There was a Medieval chapel dedicated to St Laurence, decayed in the 16th century but surviving to the late 18th century.
There was no trace, on the available air photographs, of the Medieval or Post Medieval settlement and chapel.
