Summary : Sites of two cairns with cist and inhumation/urn and axe hammer. Cliviger Law House.
More information : SD 872302. Cliviger Law House. Circa 1763 a 'heap of stones (cairn)
was removed as materials for a turnpike road' and a cist with an
inhumation was found. In 1766 another tumulus was removed and an urn
found. An axe hammer is said to have been associated. (1)

A Roman coin hoard [SD 83 SE 35] was discovered on or near a tumulus
at Law House in 1695. (2)
