Summary : Site of Domesday settlement, Radholme Laund.
More information : SD 666459 Radholme Launds. Hamlet settlement on or near to the site
of the Domesday village of 'Radun', the area of the C11 village
correlating with that of the later park of the same name. This was
let to Edmund de Dacre for 5 pounds yearly in 1322/3, but was probably
in existence earlier, Alice, widow of Edmund de Lacy, complaining of
trespass in 'her park of Bowland' in 1259. (1)
