Summary : Site of a Medieval wooden defensive tower, pre 1370 and possibly 13th century.
More information : (Area of TF616200). The West Bretask was a wooden tower which stood near the Purfleet outlet, and close to the waterside, as a watergate is associated with it. Pre-1370, and perhaps C13th. The exact site is uncertain.(1,2)

(Authy.1 sites it South of the river so that it would connect with the part of the town while authy.2 prefers the North side for the siting.)
