More information : (Area of TF61942058). There are references to Doucehill Gate from the C14th-C15th.(1,2) (Its site must be close to the Doucehill Bridge, shown by authy.4 at TF61942058. Authy.3 shows a stone-built gatehouse at this position, but it is identified by authy.1 as St Anne's Gate, (cf.TF62SW84).
