Summary : A Parish church which was built in 1857 on the site of an earlier church. Additions were made in 1866 and an extension was added in 1872. It is pebble dashed with dressed stone details. There are graduated slate roofs with terracotta ridge tiles. There is a four bay nave and a three bay chancel. There is a nearly complete Anglian cross of early 9th century date in the churchyard.
More information : [NY 09150045] Cross [NR] (1) There is an Anglian red-sandstone cross (probably 10th century) in the churchyard of St Paul's Church, Irton. Scheduled.
