More information : (ST9542) Sited to Upton Lovell parish from authority (1)and OS 1:10,000 1973.) Three trial holes by F G Walker on "The Moot meeting place" (unlocated) revealed Iron Age and Romano-British pottery, animal bone, charcoal and flint implements etc.Interpreted as an amphitheatre or circus.This may be visible as a crop mark.
