DESCRIPTION + /

Augustinian abbey, also known as Grimsby Abbey, founded in 1123-33 and dissolved in 1536. Its precise location is uncertain, but finds of 12th century building material and inhumations suggest it may be located within the grounds of The Abbey, a country house.
