More information : [TA 0763 1510] Howe Hill [OE] (1) A round barrow standing on a natural knoll and carrying a clump of trees. Seen from the road the barrow appears to be in bad condition. (2) This is a generally well preserved round barrow standing to a max. height of 1.2m. and exhibiting only slight mutilation. The slope on the northern side is very exaggerated by the close proximity of a disused chalk pit. Published survey 25" (1907) found correct. (3)
