More information : [TL 77351463] Terling Place [NAT] (1) Terling Place. Mansion. 1722-3 (sic) by John Johnson for John Strutt, MP, altered c.1818-24. This is Johnson's first known domestic building, the first brick laid 30 March 1772, the house occupied 26 November 1773. Grade II*. (2) Construction date put at 1772-1780. Much re-decorating was done in 1850, and the conservatory was then added. (3)
