Summary : Site of a grange of Lilleshall Abbey. The Abbey was founded at the Lizard circa 1143 from Dorchester, but was subsequently transferred to Donnington Wood circa 1144, and from there to Lilleshall in or before 1148. Lizard remained a grange of Lilleshall in the 13th century.

Lizard Grange, once-proposed site for Lilleshall Abbey, was a grange of that abbey in the 13th century. (2)

Lizard Grange is an 18th/19th century farmhouse with no traces of any earlier building. (3)

The Abbey was founded at the Lizard Circa 1143 and was subsequently transferred to Donnington Wood circa 1144, and from there to Lilleshall in or before 1148. (4)
