More information : (SJ 51768875) Cranshaw Hall - Moat (NR). (1) The manor of Cranshaw is mentioned in 1553. (2) In 1866 a 16th century ampulla-shaped jar or bottle 3 3/4 ins high was found in the remains of the moat. (3-4) SJ 5176 8873. Cranshaw Hall moated site. Scheduled RSM No 13480. (5)
