More information : [SJ 57735263] WOODHEY CROSS [A.T.] (1) The remains comprise a fragment of shaft, a socket stone and two steps. It has been rebuilt andis probably not in situ. See G.P. AO/64/228/3. (2) The shaft is 0.6 m long and 0.25 m square in cross section. It has moulded corners which are stepped near the foot. The socket stone is 0.8 m square, 0.5 m high. The two steps are probably post-Medieval. Published 1:2500 survey, 1972, correct. (3) Morberly (Woodhey) Cross Grade 1. (4)
